Health insurers end 2009 with assisting quarters

• Aetna Inc.: Accumulation of $165.9 million, or 38 cents per share, on acquirement of $8.76 billion

• Humana Inc.: Accumulation of $250.7 million, or $1.48 per share, on acquirement of $7.63 billion

• Cigna Corp.: Accumulation of $330 million, or $1.19 per share, on acquirement of $4.64 billion

(WellPoint's balance included a accretion of $4.79 per allotment from the auction of its NextRx accessory to Express Scripts Inc.)
